Supporting Orphans and Vulnerable Children

Bakhita Charities is a nonprofit organization that we founded to provide support for orphaned and vulnerable children living in southern Africa.

 

We work in several poor villages in Africa, supporting children by providing their basic needs – food, clothing, shelter – and focusing on education-based initiatives to break the cycle of poverty.

 

A month-long annual visit keeps us in close contact with our partners on the ground, the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart.  That makes it possible for us to maintain a personal relationship with each child being supported.

 

Bakhita Charities is supported by donations from family, friends, and church community.  We personally pay all expenses.
